Cherish if you’re living…You never know tomorrow you may be living a dead #Life !!!

September 24, 2016

In search of tomorrow many have missed yesterday and skipped tomorrow. At some point of our journey of life we come across reality. Accepting this is never easy but the fact is there is no other option but to accept and move forward. The more we crib and think about it, it just opens the Pandora of hidden pain.

Reality is ugly but the good part of it is it never comes with false promises. Its all about dealing with this all alone, no point in running here and there to share the pain. No one is there to give you a shoulder when you “really” require it. This is the phase which either makes you or breaks you. What ultimately matters now is how you want to see yourself, a looser or a winner who won after defeating all the hurdles time exposed you too.

Sometimes you got to be tough even tough its ends up hurting someone or even you. Its just a temporarytexas-judge-orders-brain-dead-pregnant-woman-released-life-support phase where you are coming across a new YOU. Some may have problems with it, but who cares. Anyone who has lost something they thought was theirs forever finally comes to realise that nothing really belongs to them. When it was lost you even lost those very friends and relatives. Lost opportunities, lost possibilities, feelings we can never get back again. That’s part of what it means to be alive maybe at times.

Life seems sometimes like nothing more than a series of losses, from beginning to end.Only after you’ve lost everything that you’re free to do anything. Some moments are just meant to be when life hits rock bottom. Its asks you a lot of questions…questions which you don’t have any answer to it. Still you got to stand up and face the heat. In this process you may not be the same person what you were but the fact is everything comes with an expiry date.

So cherish if you’re living…You never know tomorrow you may be living a dead LIFE. Things/ Problems may seem like calculus..all uncoded.

Trust Him

August 27, 2009

eye_of_god

We do experience something that makes our belief in God more strong. Even those who are agnostic somewhere believe there exists a superpower.A power that is beyond human imagination. People of different religion address this power with different names, and those who dont follow any believe it as a power which is above all.

We as human beings are the most greedy and unsatisfied creatures that this planet has ever seen. We somehow only tend to believe something which shows us results first. If things are going well and we are happy we believe in God and if it isn’t we somehow question its existence. Your wish is answered then our believe in him is more than what it used to be, but if not questions start developing.

No one has seen God, but somehow we all have at some stage of our life have felt its existence. You sometimes see miracles happening around you out of no where, is where its sure that God was present there. No one can see him. You can understand and feel his existence. The incidents are the proof of his existence as we are so fond of evidence. Its like there is a limit what we can see and what our instrument (sense) allows us to see. Then you can come with this conclusion that you will not give any attention to anything which is not within your sense or experience, or what your naked eyes can see. If this is so then consider yourself to be a teacher. If your students say to you that they will study your scientific findings only when you make them realize the results first. Then your reaction to this definitely be that the students would have to go through a learning process first then only they would come to the findings.

Trust is what is important in every relationship. No matter what relationship you talk about a degree of trust has to exist. One has to trust God and its existence.

Is Past Perfect

August 14, 2009

past-present-future

I have often wondered as to why the past is always perfect and most often happiness exists in the past. Past when compared to present most times takes one to a comfort zone. Its like when your unhappy and any consoladation makes you feel like running into an old friend abroad. Maybe we are so hungry for happiness that even small things like these makes us happy.

We all have some moments that we only take out to cherish rarely. These moments are just like treasure to us. Its these moments thats brings smile, happiness and joy. Its search for moments like these that we run around hoping to find happiness. Its a sign of hope which only you can see. Its actually the greediness to treasure more moments like these that makes us keep trying hard to achieve these.

But if we look carefully we experience happiness only in hindsight. Its a result of an event. Happiness is not a goal its an after effect, maybe happiness exists in our present but we seem to not recognized it. Diving into the past and deriving happiness may be an illusion. If we look around happiness exists in the present, its just how we see things.

Enters the Sixth Phase…..Interesting!!

May 13, 2009

Image011Its all IPL buzz going around the country. Well its not just the Indian Premier League but more than that Indian Political League thats more in news and in action. Today was the last phase of election that is the fifth phase and my constituency was a part of this fifth phase election. I voted today n felt i did what i could as a responsible citizen of this country…whatever the power our constitution has provided us with. Atleast i know that i never ran away from my responsibility and voted. I feel proud to be a part of a largest democracy in the world. Now the real game begins and the IPL of politics has arrived at the semis whereas the cricket IPL still is in the league phase…so no guesses that political league right now will attract more spectators and attention than compared to the cricket league. Elections were of 5 phases but the the unofficial 6th phase which everyone is talking about is more covered and interesting. After the results all the political parties will just run after each other to have the magic numbers with them so that they can form the government. As very rightly said that “politics is an art, not science” so no fixed formulas are there..that can get u the magic number. Its going to be really interesting as to who is able to make it. Whoever makes it, but i hope that alliance come up with some new ideas and changes. Jai Hind!!!

Champions League for a whooping $900 million

September 11, 2008

T20 is getting richer and richer as it gets older day by day. ESPN-Star Sports (ESS) have paid to buy the rights of Champions League for a whooping $900 million. This makes the Champions League, promoted by the national boards of India, Australia and South Africa, the highest valued cricket tournament on a per-game basis.

ESS which lost the bid for the Indian Premier League (IPL) which seemed like a miscalculation on its part. The IPL rights were sold to Sony Entertainment Television and the Singapore-based World Sports Group, for more than $1 billion. ESS has the ICC’s television rights till 2015 – they acquired the rights in 2006 for $1.1 billion over nine years. As the postponement of the ICC Champions Trophy seems to have made them anyhow go for this bid ,as because of the postponement they were left with no major cricket tournaments.

Lalit Modi, the IPL commissioner, said the bidding process had been “fair and transparent”. “We have what we believe to be the best commercial deal for the inaugural Champions League Twenty20 season and for cricket fans across the world,” Modi said. “All the bids received were of a very high standard.”

THE INDIAN MARKET SCENARIO OF INSURANCE SECTOR

September 2, 2008
With an annual growth rate of 15-20% and the largest number of life insurance policies in force, the potential of the Indian insurance industry is huge. Total value of the Indian insurance market is estimated at Rs. 450 billion (US$10 billion). According to government sources, the insurance and banking services’ contribution to the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) is 7% out of which the gross premium collection forms a significant part. The funds available with the state-owned Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) for investments are 8% of GDP. Till date, only 20% of the total insurable population of India is covered under various life insurance schemes, the penetration rates of health and other non-life insurances in India is also well below the international level. These facts indicate the of immense growth potential of the insurance sector. The year 1999 saw a revolution in the Indian insurance sector, ending of government monopoly and the passage of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) Bill, lifting all entry restrictions for private players and allowing foreign players to enter the market with some limits on direct foreign ownership. Though, the existing rule says that a foreign partner can hold 26% equity in an insurance company, a proposal to increase this limit to 49% is pending with the government. Since opening up of the insurance sector in 1999, foreign investments of Rs. 8.7 billion have poured into the Indian market and 21 private companies have been granted licenses. Innovative products, smart marketing, and aggressive distribution have enabled fledgling private insurance companies to sign up Indian customers faster than anyone expected. Indians, who had always seen life insurance as a tax saving device, are now suddenly turning to the private sector and snapping up the new innovative products on offer.
The life insurance industry in India grew by an impressive 36%, with premium income from new business at Rs. 253.43 billion, braving stiff competition from private insurers. LIC, has clocked 21.87% growth in business at Rs.197.86 billion by selling 2.4 billion new policies in. But this was still not enough to arrest the fall in its market share, as private players grew by 129% to mop up Rs. 55.57 billion. Though the total volume of LIC’s business increased, its market share came down from 87.04 to 78.07%. The 14 private insurers increased their market share from about 13% to about 22% in a year’s time. The figures also speak of the growing share of the private insurers. The share of LIC for this period has further come down to 75 percent, while the private players have grabbed over 24 percent.

The rate at which the private share has increased, it clearly shows the potential of this sector. In the globalize market scenario India has big role to play.People in India are brand conscious and show loyalty to a brand if they believe in it or have known it for quite a long time is one of the features of Indian market which needs to be understood.
